My Favorite Linux Distros

1. OpenSUSE
OpenSUSE is my favorite Linux based OS. It has lots of nice features, and runs smoothly. One of my favorite things about it is its stability: it almost never crashes.
2. Jolicloud
Joli OS is primarily cloud based, and yet can run desktop applications. Built on Ubuntu and Chromium, Joli has popular and tested sources. Its fast, beautiful, stable, easy to use and powerful.
3. Linux Mint
Although its based off Ubuntu, Linux Mint is fast and stable. It has many dress ups and a wonderful look and feel. One of the best distros, hands down.

4. Arch Linux
While Arch is for more advanced users, I certainly enjoyed it. Probably one of the fastest and most stable distros. Very customizable.

5. Fedora
I just love the look and feel of Fedora, its wonderful. It, like most Linux distros, is stable and fast. I really enjoyed Fedora.
6. SolusOS
This OS is really great, its nice and minimalistic. It is very user friendly. Very enjoyable.

7. Pear Linux
For those who are switching from OS X, Pear Linux is the one for you. I love OS X, so I love Pear. OS X is my favorite OS, so Pear doesn't work the same.
8. Debian
Debian is the much more stable ancestor of Ubuntu. Its mush faster, although less up to date than its popular child. I recommend it for people who put stability and support first.
9. Slackware
A reasonably popular distro, slackware is very reliable. I enjoyed it, and I think most people will.
10. Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Lubuntu, ect
While the Ubuntu family is extremely popular, I did not find it to be the best. I had some problems, and I much prefer the OS's above.
